| to get a big head over this, but it sure seems like nothing happened during my week away from the forum :-P We (Boomer, my dad, and I) made it to SoCal safe and sound, arriving at my folks' place at 10:00 pm Friday night. (we drove 963.1 miles from Tucumcari, NM - our last overnight stop - in case anyone was curious). As soon as the new job starts to settle into a routine I'll set aside some time to post what few pictures we took along the drive. I'd like to thank B & L (or is that B-N-L?) for their gracious hospitality and especially Bernie for his excellent breakfast. "You see the problem is, I just cooked these eggs and I can't eat them all on my own, so I need you to help..." thanks B, the eggs were great. And I'd also like to thank Ashley for helping me lose my Krispy Kreme virginity - I couldn't think of a better person to lose it with ;-) Sorry for anyone who wanted to meet up. I'll most likely be doing this again in a couple of months when I go back and get our other truck and horse trailer to drive out here. Perhaps I'll have a little more time to plan out some more strategic stops (DFW folks, I'm thinking I'd like to swing through and say "howdy"). Lastly, thanks to EVERYONE for your well wishes.
